At the Ollantaytambo station, you will board the train bound for Aguas Calientes. A panoramic trip of approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, during which you will be able to enjoy impressive Andean landscapes, rivers, and mountains on one of the most beautiful routes in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Our guide will be waiting for you at the Aguas Calientes train station to take you to the bus terminal, where you will board the bus that will transfer you to the Citadel of Machu Picchu. The bus goes up a zigzag road for 25 minutes, with views of the Urubamba River and the mountains that surround the archaeological site, to finally arrive at the Inca citadel. Once there, you will begin your guided visit to the Inca citadel where you will be amazed by this monument considered one of the 7 wonders of the Modern World; immediately our professional tourism guide will begin the tour in Machu Picchu connecting you with the sacred and mystical aspect of this Archaeological Wonder so that you can better know the history, the importance of engineering, and the architecture of Machu Picchu.
After finishing the tour in the Citadel of Machu Picchu, you will board the return bus to the town of Aguas Calientes. Once in Aguas Calientes, you will have free time to have lunch. At the appropriate time, you must head to the train station to return to the Ollantaytambo station. Once in Ollantaytambo, you will board the transport service of CuscoPeru.com for your return to the city of Cusco and your hotel, thus ending the wonderful experience of knowing Machu Picchu in 1 day.

Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes
We begin very early with a pickup from your hotel in Cusco to transfer you privately to the Ollantaytambo station. There, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey of nearly 2 hours with spectacular views of the Andes and the Urubamba River.
The Wonder: Machu Picchu
Upon arrival, our guide will assist you in taking the bus that winds up to the entrance of the citadel. You will have a professional guided tour through the most important points of the Inca citadel, learning about its engineering and sacred architecture.
Return to Cusco
After the visit, you will descend by bus to Aguas Calientes for lunch (on your own). Finally, you will take the return train to Ollantaytambo, where our transportation will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
