Itinerary
Enjoy a 5-hour tour of the main places of interest in Cusco. Learn about the history of the city, its most important architectural structures, as well as ancient Inca legends. To start this tour, our transfer will visit you at your hotel to move you to the starting point of your tour. We have 2 shifts: the morning shift begins approximately at 08:30 hrs. ending at 14:00 hrs., and the afternoon shift begins approximately at 13:00 hrs. finishing at 18:30 hrs. As the first starting point of our City tour in Cusco is the Cathedral of Cusco, full of history and valuable works of art, then we will visit the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun), a sacred enclosure and space dedicated to deities where we will appreciate the finest lithic technology work performed by the CUSQUEÑOS (Incas); subsequently, we will continue the tour to the esplanade of Sacsayhuaman, known for its enormous megalithic stone walls that were built with amazing precision and perfection, we will continue through the nearby archaeological centers such as Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and finally Tambomachay. Thus ending our Cusco City tour in the Plaza de Armas.
