Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO – CITY TOUR AND SURROUNDINGS We receive our visitors at the airport and transfer them to their hotel in Cusco. At 1:00 p.m., we begin a City Tour through the city: The tour ends near the Plaza de Armas, where you can stroll and enjoy the local gastronomy.
DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY – PISAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES Early departure to the Sacred Valley: In the afternoon, we will board the train to Aguas Calientes, with views of the Vilcanota River, where you will arrive at your hotel to rest and explore the town.
DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO Early, we will go up by bus to Machu Picchu, where we will perform a guided tour of 2-3 hours exploring the Inca architecture, terraces, temples, and hydraulic systems. Then, we will return to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and tour the town, before taking the train back to Ollantaytambo. Our transport will take you back to Cusco.
DAY 4: TRANSFER HOTEL – AIRPORT After breakfast, transfer to the Cusco airport with enough time for your flight. Depending on the schedule, you can take advantage of one last walk through the city or souvenir shopping.

Acclimatization: On the first day, it is recommended to rest and drink coca tea to avoid "soroche" (altitude sickness), as Cusco is at 3,399 m / 11,152 ft. Reservations: Due to the high demand for the citadel, this tour must be booked at least 2 to 3 months in advance. Luggage: For the train journey to the Valley and Machu Picchu, only a 5 kg backpack is allowed. The rest of your luggage can be left in free storage at your hotel in Cusco. Documents: It is mandatory to present your physical Passport or ID at every train checkpoint and at the entrance to Machu Picchu.
