Itinerary
The Ritual: Step by Step toward the Sacred Good Fortune Welcome: Upon your arrival, the women of the community will receive you with yellow flowers and "misturas," traditional symbols of luck and prosperity for the couple. Connection and Acclimatization: We will enjoy a comforting muña tea while we immerse ourselves in the serenity of the landscape, receiving the official welcome from the leaders of Huilloc. Transformation: The bride and groom will be dressed in hand-woven typical costumes, authentic pieces that represent the identity and honor of the Andean culture. The Mystical Ceremony: An Andean Shaman will lead the ritual, invoking the protection of the spirits of the mountains. The scene will be accompanied by the presence of alpacas and sheep, creating a perfect and natural frame for your photographs. Celebration and Dance: We will celebrate the union with the Wallata Dance, a typical dance that imitates the courtship of Andean birds, filling the atmosphere with music and joy. The Sharing (Ayni): As a symbol of abundance and community, we will perform a sharing with the attendees, culminating with a traditional lunch prepared with local ingredients.

Recommendations
Acclimatization: Being a high-altitude area, make sure you have spent at least one day in Cusco or Ollantaytambo before the ceremony to avoid altitude sickness. Clothing: Although typical costumes will be provided for the ritual, wear warm and comfortable clothing underneath, and suitable shoes for walking on natural terrain (grass or dirt). Sun Protection: The Andean sun is strong. Apply sunscreen and wear sunglasses, especially for the moments before and after the ceremony. Camera and Batteries: The beauty of the surroundings and the color of the suits are ideal for photographs. Make sure to bring enough battery, as the cold can drain them quickly. Offerings: If you wish, you can bring a small personal item that you want to be blessed during the ritual by the Shaman.

Spiritual Significance: This is not a ceremony with conventional legal or religious validity (civil or Catholic); it is an ancestral spiritual pact based on the Andean worldview and respect for nature. Cultural Respect: The community of Huilloc keeps its traditions alive. Participants are requested to follow the instructions of the Shaman and the communal leaders with respect and an open heart. Weather in Huilloc: The community is located in a high-altitude area and the weather can be cold or change suddenly. The ceremony is held outdoors to connect with the Apus. Reservation: Due to the logistics of the hand-woven outfits and the coordination with the Shaman and the musicians, it is recommended to book at least 15 days in advance.
